Drawn to her iridescent hair or the radiance in her eyes, moths flock to this beacon of light, settling in the fuzzy cocoon of her hair. The third in a series of works called Habitat Hairdos, where creatures have colonised the elaborately coiffed locks of lonely girls, the original painting from which this print is taken combines acrylic, spray paint, pencil and enamel on wallpaper and board. This portrait is concerned with preservation - just as delicate fabrics are protected by mothballs (playfully alluded to in shape of the necklace), so too is our ethereal debutante well-preserved and aloof from the ravages of time - her translucent beauty making her the 'Belle of the Mothball.'

All works are printed on acid-free, archival quality art paper using Epson Ultrachrome pigment inks
